The Pierce Power-trained gelding was a fine debut winner of the second division of the four-year-old maiden at Courtown. The son of Le Houssais made much of the running throughout, before increasing the tempo at the business end of the race. The French-bred gelding, who held every chance when two of his closest rivals departed at the last, continued to battle gamely right up to the line in the hands of Shane O'Rourke to secure a one length victory. Owned by Una Lawlor, the bay handled the testing conditions at Courtown well and will surely develop into a fine staying sort under rules in the future.
