The Boom Is Back heads to the sales on the back of a success at Durrow in a six-year-old maiden. The son of Publisher has had two starts in point-to-points to date having pulled up on his debut at Lingstown in November. Benefitting from the experienced gained that day, The Boom Is Back travelled well throughout and disputed the lead for much of the race. When headed at the third last fence, he battled back strongly in the home straight to gain his initial success by three lengths. The Boom Is Back is from a decent national hunt family which includes the Grade one winners Shinrock Paddy and Colonel Yeager and having clearly shown marked improvement in his two runs, he looks like a sort that can provide plenty of entertainment for his new owners.
