A most impressive winner of the four-year-old maiden at Cork. This son of Westerner travelled with speed and class to challenge at the second last and went on to score by a comfortable four lengths with a further twenty lengths back to the third. Such was the injection of pace from the turn for home that this winner must be given the utmost respect when viewing the margin from one finisher to the next at the line. Whilst the testing course at Cork required an abundance of stamina which this winner clearly possesses it is the speed on his page which was most evident in the closing stages. The mix of the two will see him climb through the ranks throughout his career.
