A progressive son of Court Cave who was twice third before opening his account on his most recent effort at Ballindenisk. A close up third at Ballyvodock on debut was followed up by filling the same position at Borris next time. That experience stood to him as he turned up at Ballindenisk and scored on his most recent start. Declan Queally’s impressive recent bumper winner, Custom Taylor, was four lengths behind Coolberrin Hill in his debut at Ballyvodock. Further trumps in form came from subsequent winners who finished behind Coolberrin Hill in both his Ballyvodock and Borris House runs. Of note within those runs is that even though he is trained in Northern Ireland he has overcome travel in excess of his rivals on all three runs most notably when winning latterly. Beyond that he has been competitive around the left handed Borris where speed is required and yet scored around the right handed Ballindenisk where stamina is a key attribute. This fellow has the credentials to be versatile going forward which will surely see him find winning opportunities very much within reach and to a high level. He is closely related to the enormously talented Mount Benbulben.
