Having chased home the subsequent £100,000 seller Red Acres Georgie on his debut in Ballindenisk, Moyganny Phil showed nice progression on his return to action at Dromahane last Sunday to again fill the runners-up spot. Only beaten two and a half lengths in the 14-runner contest, he did not enjoy the smoothest of passages through the race, having made a bad mistake five-out, followed by another error three-out. Having to switch paths in an attempt to get a clear passage, he was in fourth jumping the last, before finishing very strongly to come through and take the second spot in an eye-catching effort.
