Pats Fancy has finished within six and a half lengths of the race winner on each of his three outings to date which points to a very consistent individual. On debut, he finished second to Gunsight Ridge before reappearing when fourth at Tinahely last month. The son of a Supreme Leader mare that Gordon Elliott rode to success at Tinahely, he was back in action at Lisronagh last Saturday, when it was only an above average looking Brief Ambition that prevented him from attaining a deserved success. Having been ridden with slightly more patient tactics than had been the case at Tinahely, he began to take closer order in the final half mile staying on all the while to land in the second spot over the last in a race which was run to a time nine seconds faster than the day’s average.
