Bobby Bow showed plenty of promise on his debut fourth at Kinsale in June. Following up from this run, the son of Frammossone improved to win on his next start at Moig South in November. Prominent throughout, the Mick Murphy-trained winner joined the leader at the third last fence, he soon quickened up and held a six-length advantage when jumping the last where he made a costly mistake but held on to the line to win by half-a-length. He is likely value for more than the winning margin here as his sole error at the final fence allowed the runner-up to close on him late on. This eye-catching gelding highlighted himself as an exciting sort who will be a real addition to any trainer’s yard.
