The Getaway gelding Away At Dawn made a strong start to his racing career when he made his debut at Lisronagh just last Saturday. Always to the fore, he made his way to the front inside the second half of the race before being headed after rounding the home bend. Despite this being his debut, it was his jumping which really stood out. Even when the race really began to develop in the home straight, he produced what was by far the best jump of the leading principals over the last, which saw him land running and regain the runners-up spot before running all the way to the line.
