Coolbane Boy made a very promising start to his career when placed 3rd on his debut in the 2m Maiden Hurdle at Wexford on 28 October for Liam Burke. The four-year-old son of Mountain High travelled kindly in mid-division before taking closer order 4 out jumping well in the main. He only gave best late on to two more experienced rivals including the very highly regarded winner Cayd Boy. This can be considered a most encouraging start to his career and he looks sure to build on this initial outing for new connections.
