Encore Champs went one better than on his debut when taking the Maiden NH Flat Race at Ffos Las on 25th October on only his second start. The 4yo son of Robin des Champs travelled stylishly throughout and was the last off the bridle before being ridden to assert in the final furlong and win a shade cosily in the hands of Gavin Sheehan. Out of the black type performer Dani California he rates a top class prospect to go on with this season who is likely to develop into a top notch chaser.
