Fostered Phil made the most pleasing start to his career when shaping with significant promise on his debut run in the INH Flat Race at Clonmel on 4th October. The 4yo son of Arcadio raced towards the rear early before making progress half a mile from home and stayed on in eye-catching fashion in the final furlong to be beaten only 2 ¾ lengths at the line. Out a half-sister to CHASING CARS bumper success looks a formality before going on to make his mark over obstacles as his pedigree suggests.
