Takingitallin deservedly got his head in front on Saturday at Lisronagh in the race won 12 months earlier by Lust For Glory, a horse who was also then offered at this sale and who won on her hurdling debut at Newbury in such good style last week. This daughter of Fame And Glory, who herself is out of a dual track winning Beneficial mare, had shown a lot of ability last spring, when coming out the wrong side of two very tight finishes – beaten by one length at Bartlemy and half-a-length at Kinsale. Always up disputing the pace, Takingitallin was aided by two good jumps over the final two obstacles as she determinedly ensured that she would not come out the wrong side of another tight finish, when sticking her head down when it counted, to win by a length.
