The Shark Hanlon – trained Urban Legend got off the mark at the first time of asking when the five-year-old geldings’ maiden at Stradbally. Sharing the same sire - Pasternak, as the prolific Little Josh and the 148 rated Parsnip Pete, the winner was given a positive ride by Shane Fenelon, jumping and travelling well close the pace. Having thrown down a strong challenge in the home straight, the five-year-old displayed a likable attitude on the run to the line, battling hard to win by a neck. Going forward this solid type should be able to make his impact felt under rules.
