Having been brought down after a mile on her debut in the older mares’ maiden at Fairyhouse, the Stuart Crawford-trained Drumreagh secured second place in the five-year-old mares’ maiden at Loughanmore. Under the guidance of Ben Crawford, this daughter of Court Cave made a couple of mistakes but should be given credit for battling gamely to gain her second place finish. This five-year-old looks to have a good attitude and should improve for the experience. Out of a point-to-point winner, Drumreagh is a likeable sort who could well become a progressive sort for her new connections in the future.
