John Murphy's Frank And Honest finished a fine second at Loughrea in the five-year-old mares’ maiden when beaten by a neck under Luke Murphy. This was the daughter Lecroix’s fourth start having fallen on her debut, before filling the placings at both Ballysteen and Tyrella. This consistent type made much of the running here and held every chance jumping the final obstacle only to be beaten in the dying strides of this contest. A full-sister to three-time winner Conna Cross, this bay mare is a likeable sort who may well develop into a progressive individual under rules in the future.
