Presence of Mind made the perfect start to his career when running out the taking winner of the 4,5 & 6yo Maiden point-to-point (Div II) at Carlton Horethorne on 10th March for Francesca Nimmo. The son of the late great Presenting travelled well throughout under Tommie O’Brien and really attacked his fences jumping boldly for much of the contest. Despite running green off the home bend and up the run in he stayed on well after the last to assert and win going away. Out of a half-sister to the great multiple Cheltenham Festival winner ALBERTAS RUN he looks to have a very bright future ahead of him under rules.
