Just A Dime made a very promising debut at Cragmore in February when finishing second to the highly regarded Brandy Love in a competitive four-year-old maiden. The son of Doyen was one of six newcomers in this six-runner field and the gelding was always on the pace, he travelled smoothly throughout the contest, while displaying a good round of jumping and ran on well in the home straight. The four-year-old ultimately finished just eight lengths behind the winner. The bay gelding is out of a half-sister to eight-time track winner Debt To Society and is also is from the family of Grade 1 novice chase winner Ornua. This likeable youngster lost little in defeat and is bred to develop into a smart sort on the track, who could have a lot to offer to new connections.
