Oscar Academy is a progressive performer who is the winner of his last two starts over hurdles for the Olly Murphy yard. On his latest start in the 2m 7 1/2f Novices’ Hurdle at Fakenham on 23 January he could be called the winner a long way out. The son of Oscar picked up smartly to lead round the home bend and win with plenty in hand. He looks a staying chaser in the making but there should be a lot more prizes to win over hurdles before he embarks on his chasing career.
