Supreme Jet could not have been more impressive on his debut, as he ran out a three-and-a-half-length winner of the four-year-old maiden won two years earlier by Grade 1-star Asterion Forlonge at Oldtown. This was a race run at a strong gallop from flag fall and it was Supreme Jet who dictated the pace as he caught the eye when travelling strongly at the head of affairs throughout the contest. The son Jet Away, who displayed a nice round of jumping had a 15-length advantage turning into the straight and he showed a nice turn of foot when staying on gamely all the way to the line. The four-year-old hails from a well-bred family of winners, which includes the seven-time track winner Gatflax and seven-time track winner In The Blood. Patrick Farrell’s charge appears to be a decent looking prospect, who looks like he is set to further add to this winning family when he makes his progression to the track.
