The progressive Tango Theatre was a recent winner at Kirkistown on what was her fifth start between the flags. The daughter of Shirocco ran a creditable race at Tyrella at the end of January where she finished just four lengths runner-up behind Aprils Joy. Leading from flag-fall, the five-year-old bay mare travelled strongly throughout and always held a commanding advantage over her rivals, she quickened up turning into the home straight to hold off the challenges of runner-up Ringneill to score by seven lengths. Out of a two-time winning mare Tango Moll, Warren Ewing’s charge appears to be a decent looking prospect, who looks like she is set to further add to this winning family when she makes her progression to track racing.
