A very exciting addition to the catalogue. A son of Presenting he is a fine individual and furthermore he is out of a sister to Gunner Welburn and from the family of Calling Wild. From the outset of his Lingstown debut this fellow stood out jumping and travelled with ease compared to all his rivals. He moved smoothly to the fron before the second last and when challenged by the well regarded Sporting Ace merely needed a shake of the reins to show a considerable increase in pace to quicken away before the final fence where he stayed on strongly to the line and indeed continue well passed the line before being pulled up. He achieved everything in this performance which would be expected from a high class youngster. He jumped and travelled with a real fluency and demonstrated scope when required and quickened to put the race away. This race produced Shishkin just a few years earlier and this performance suggests this Lingstown maiden could well have unearthed another gem.
