This son of Coastal Path looks a most exciting sort. He was ridden close to the pace in a truly run Tattersalls maiden and did well to pick off the vastly more experienced Ardhill from the last. Taking the final bend on the outside he did well to quicken away on the home straight and looked good value for the winning margin. The runner up was only beaten 8l in a top maiden previously behind Lifetime Ambition and provided a solid form-line into this race on top of his superior experience. He showed stamina here but being out of a winning mare with an ideal mix of flat and NH in his pedigree suggests he has the versatility to compete at any sphere in the future.
