Shoot to Fame made a big impression when taking the mares winners of two race at Turtulla. The daughter of Fame and Glory finished a fine second back in March at Monksgrange however following the disqualification of the race winner, she was subsequently awarded the victory. The five-year-old has been an improving performer and posted her best performance to date when storming home a four-length winner on her penultimate run. The bay mare showed the benefit of her experience when turning into the home straight as she battled it out with Chenery, who had the misfortune of unseating her rider after jumping the second last fence, leaving the way clear for Shoot to Fame to run on gamely all the way to the line. The Sean Doyle-trained winner displayed a nice blend of both speed and stamina which highlights her as an exciting sort, who will be a real addition to any trainer’s yard in mares’ races over the coming seasons.
