The Colin Bowe-trained Visionarian made a very impressive debut here when running out an emphatic winner of the four-year-old geldings maiden at Knockmullen House. The son of Vision D’Etat jumped well at the head of affairs from four-out under James Kenny, before being strongly challenged from the second-last, but battled gamely all the way to line, to fend off his challengers. The debutant showed a very smart turn of foot and an extra surge of speed in the closing stages saw him quicken away from his rivals. This promising type ultimately came home two lengths clear of the field to record very eye-catching victory. A €48,000 store, this good-looking sort could well develop into a promising prospect under rules.
