Tremwedge has relished the transition from the flat to hurdling and posted a career best when placed 3rd in the Grade 3 Juvenile Hurdle at Fairyhouse on 1 December for Ellmarie Holden. Close up behind the leaders for most of the contest he kept on in very taking fashion all the way to the line and clearly has a great attitude only giving best to two Joseph O’Brien trained runners. The 3yo son of Foxwedge had previously caught the eye with a long-priced 3rd on his debut over hurdles at Punchestown in November. He is a highly progressive young horse who rates a near-certainty for a juvenile maiden.
