On My Wish List has proven himself to be a very progressive individual, improving with each of his three outings to date, culminating in an impressive maiden success at Tinahely last month. Fifth on debut at Oldcastle at the end of last season in a race that has already produced multiple winners, the son of Court Cave improved to finish second on his reappearance at Tinahely in October. On that occasion he met with some trouble in running when some white railing was knocked into his path rounding the bottom bend at a time when the winner had begun to make his move for home. Whilst losing ground at the time and dropping to third, he did stay on very strongly up the tough Tinahely hill to reclaim the second position. Unsurprisingly strongly fancied on his return to the Wicklow course the following month, he made amends by once again powering up the hill to prevail by 12 lengths ensuring he was one of the widest margin winners of a four-year-old maiden this season in a notable time 14 seconds faster than the day’s average. He is undoubtedly a very strong stayer, who has jumped impeccably to date also.
