Irish Hill made a very taking debut to finish a fine third in the second division of the four-year-old maiden at Kirkistown. Trained by Ian Ferguson the son of Presenting was given a very patient ride by Derek O’Connor. Waited with in rear, the dark bay was almost last jumping three-out, before making relentless progress from the penultimate obstacle under a hands and heels ride. Considering how strongly this well-bred sorted galloped out through the line, there is certainly plenty more to come from this debutant in the future. This €52,000 store is from the Wilson Dennison academy and has the potential to be another top class graduate for connections.
