Top Up The Fashion was waited with in mid-division for much of the race on his debut at Lingstown last month, steadily inching closer within the final half-mile. Sticking to his task well from the second-last, the Court Cave gelding may not have been able to get on terms with the winner, however that rival was a more experienced horse, who crucially had ran a fortnight earlier at Dromahane, and that undoubtedly proved to be a considerable benefit. Out of a dual track winner, should the bay have returned between the flags for a second start, he would surely have been strongly fancied to go one better.
