The son of Yeats improved for both of these runs to secure a four-length success in the five-year-old geldings’ maiden at Bellurgan in the hands of Anthony Fox. The €36,000 store, who looked a cut above the rest here, raced up with the pace before quickening clear to win comfortably. This gelding, a half-brother to the five-time winner Mystic Sky, could develop into an exciting prospect between the rails in the future.
