Bannixtown Glory is a model of consistency having shaped with plenty of promise on her first three starts, before running out a wide margin winner of the five and six-year-old mares’ maiden at Belclare on her fourth attempt. This was a well-deserved success for the daughter of Fame And Glory who had finished a gallant second on her previous two outings. The five-year-old was always up with the pace and forged clear from three-out to record an easy 18-length victory. Aidan Fitzgerald’s charge should have no problem continuing her winning ways under rules.
