  • Price: £38,000

The Sam Curling-trained Forthegreatergood got off the mark on the third time of asking in the five-year-old mares’ maiden at Liscarroll. The daughter of Yeats had been second on both of her previous starts to date at Kilfeacle in January and Nenagh in February finishing just a length-and-a-half behind the winner on both occasions. Ridden by Derek O'Connor on this occasion, the daughter of Yeats was always on the pace at Liscarroll, hitting the front two from home. The mare was in command from this point on and quickened away from the last nicely to win by a comfortable six lengths. This consistent type, purchased for €12,000 as a store, is a likeable sort that could well become a decent prospect under rules.
