The CattleJobber heads to the sales on the back of a debut success at Stradbally in a six-year-old maiden. The son of Arvico tracked the leaders throughout before progressing to lead on the run to the third last fence where he kept on gamely from the final obstacle to win by two lengths. The Cattlejobber found plenty for pressure and was the only newcomer amongst the 12 runner field which saw no fewer than four of the line-up having filled the runner-up position on their latest outings. Having shown a game attitude along with a blend of both speed and stamina, The Cattlejobber looks like a horse that could provide plenty of entertainment for his new connections.
