Rollercoster was a winner this season at Liscarroll in March when she took the six-year-old-and-upwards mares’ maiden. The daughter of Helissio disputed the lead from the seventh fence and progressed to lead from the third last where she quickly gained a commanding advantage over her rivals and went on to win by a wide margin at the finish. Runner-up on her previous run at Belharbour behind Cloone Lady, the Tom Keating-trained mare had made her debut at Dawstown last May. Rollercoster is a half-sister to the four-time track winning mare Sparkling River as well as being out of a half-sister to the talented New York Rainbow and All The Aces. Rollercoster looks the sort that will be in the winners’ enclosure again very soon for her new connections.
