King Of The Sharks showed plenty of promise on his debut third at Nenagh in January. Following up from this run, the son of Flemensfirth improved to win on his next start at Oldtown in February. Prominent throughout, the Donnchadh Doyle-trained winner joined the leader at the third last fence and soon quickened clear over the final two obstacles to win by eight lengths over his runner-up. King Of The Sharks backed this success up by stepping up to winners company at Lingstown in March where he secured victory in the winners of two having been ridden prominently throughout before jumping his way to the front from the final fence to win by three quarters of a length. A half-brother to the Grade two and Grade three placed Don’t Tell No One as well as two bumper winners, King Of The Sharks has now secured two wins from three starts. Having displayed a nice blend of both speed and stamina he looks set to further add to this winning family when he makes his progression to park racing.
