Ballybough Nora heads to the sales following her success in the five-year-old-upwards mares’ maiden at Curraghmore. Having finished fourth at Tallow on her debut, Ballybough Nora used her experienced gained to step up on her latest start. Prominently ridden, Ballybough Nora travelled well throughout and progressed to take the lead from the penultimate fence where she quickly gained a strong advantage over her rivals and kept on well to win by an eased down three lengths. The daughter of Oscar is from a strong black type national hunt family that includes horses such as the Grade one winner Strong Flow and Three Musketeers. Having shown that she has a blend of both speed and stamina, Ballybough Nora is a versatile mare who looks to have the potential to develop into a smart track performer that can further add to this winning family.
