Stingthebookies heads to the sales with a wealth of experience under his belt. The six-year-old who, gained a deserved maiden success at Ballysteen in April. The Scorpion gelding showed a likeable attitude to rally gamely approaching the last and kept on strongly to the line to get a well-deserved win, winning by four-lengths at the finish. This gelding has shown that he has plenty of ability and having got his head in front, he is likely to make his presence felt going forward. Donnchadh Doyle’s charge advertised his well-being when placing for the third time between the flags at Kinsale when last seen. Stingthebookies is a consistent sort that can be competitive for his new owners.
