Asking A Lot has yet to get her head in front, but her turn won't be too far away going by her efforts to date. The daughter of Ask was in the process of posting a fine debut effort and was still disputing when coming down at the third last fence at Inch in early April. The Sean Doyle-trained mare confirmed that debut promise by finishing third in a mares’ maiden at Bartlemy in May. Partnered by Harley Dunne, the Sean Doyle-trained mare settled in mid-division for much of the race before making good progress from the penultimate fence where she kept on well behind the leaders to only be beaten four lengths at the finish. She is a half-sister to the Grade three placed, Woods Well who has a current rating of 134 over hurdles. She looks the type to progress with racing and will develop into a nice track mare in time.
