Malachys Girl has run with plenty of promise in three starts in the competitive four-year-old mares’ division on the point-to-point circuit to date. The daughter of Darsi put in an eye-catching debut performance at Curraheen when only beaten by a length to Be My Westerner. The Donnchadh Doyle-trained mare followed up that initial run with a fourth at Necarne and most recently a six length second at Kinsale behind the progressive Letitbeso. This smart sort who is a half-sister to the three time track winner, Monbeg Notorious, is likely to keep improving with each visit to the track and looks like a mare that won't remain a maiden for too long.
