Letitbeso showed plenty of promise on her debut at Inch in April, finishing an eight length third to Victoria Bay. A below par effort at Fairyhouse just 11 days later was quickly brushed aside as the Ask mare lived up to the promise she had shown earlier when posting a six-length victory at Kinsale in the hands of Jamie Codd. The four-year-old travelled well in behind the leaders throughout, and had little trouble in brushing aside the field from the final fence. The William Codd-trained mare appeared to relish the yielding underfoot conditions and showed a nice turn of foot to win in convincing fashion. She's a mare with a mainly flat pedigree and looks the type who will continue to improve with racing over middle distances on the racetrack in the future.
