The son of Ask had been prominent throughout and kept on gamely in the home straight to finish five lengths behind the winner in what was testing ground conditions. Shannon Light had one initial start at Dromahane in November where he was also runner-up to Hillary View, who has also won for his new connections. He is out of the bumper winning mare Shannon Mist and is also from the family of the Group one winner Tajoun. Having shown an abundance of stamina on both of his starts to date, Shannon Light looks like a horse that could provide plenty of entertainment for his new connections.
