Goffsbridge Girl made her debut a winning one when she took the five-and-six-year-old mares’ maiden at Kildorrery in February. Given a patient ride until progressing to challenge the leader before the penultimate fence, Goffsbridge Girl took up the lead soon after and quickly gained a strong advantage over her rivals to win by four lengths at the finish. One of five newcomers in the race, the daughter of Touch Of Land seems to have an ideal blend of speed and stamina and looks to be the type that would have little difficulty in making her mark in a bumper while also providing plenty of entertainment for her new connections.
