(13:24)
Lot 98:
The Bloodstock Connection's Night of Thunder filly is bought by Rabbah Bloodstock for £85,000. Jono Mills signed the docket – Mills and Rabbah have even more reason than many to appreciate the qualities of the sire's progeny ... they purchased the sire himself at the 2012 October Book 1 Sale.
(13:30)

(14:26)
Lot 172 and Lot 173:
we mentioned too early that Greenhills Farm was having a good day – it has just got even better as the farm's last lot through the ring today, a colt by Lope De Vega sells for £100,000.
He was purchased by Peter Nolan, who also spent £60,000 on Lot
99, a colt by Power and also consigned by Greenhills, and £40,000 on Lot
173, a filly by Camelot.
"They are for the same client, who is new to me," said Nolan. "They will head to Ireland. The colt looks as though he will be a two-year-old type, the others are more types to have a couple of backend runs and be prepared for a three-year-old career."
Nolan is heading from here to Doncaster for the NH Store Sale and on Monday, July 27 features the Tattersalls Ireland Derby and May Sale and Goffs Land Rover joint supplementary catalogue.
Walsh, understandably delighted with her day, said: "He was a pinhook for a client. He came to me in January and has just developed all the way through. He is a backend two-year-old type and will be a three-year-old. The sire is on fire and this is a lovely sort."
(15:04)
Lot 190:
Sheikh Abdullah Almalek Alsabah spends £52,000 on the Night Of Thunder filly out of the six-time winner My Girl Lisa (With Approval), consigned by Castlelyons Stables. It means that the four lots by the second-season sire sold today have achieved an average price of £77,750.
(15:58)
Lot 223:
trainer David Loughnane buys the daughter of first-season sire Coulsty via an online bid. He goes to £48,000 for the filly, a half-sister to two winners including the Group 3 Cornwallis Stakes winner Amour Propre. It is also the family of the Listed Scurry Stakes winner and Group 2 placed Corrybrough, and the Group 1 Golden Jubilee Stakes winner Cape Of Good Hope. She was sold by M C Thoroughbreds, who bought her for €6,500.
The Rathasker Stud-based sire has had four winners so far, including the Group 2-placed Santosha, who finished third in Duchess of Cambridge Stakes (G2).
(16:10)
Lot 244:
one of the pinhooks of the day came late in the day - the colt by Dialled In, named Onesmoothoperator, bought by Sherbourne Lodge last autumn for $5,000, sells for £140,000 today. He was bought by Richard Brown of Blandford Bloodstock, standing down the stairs with David Simcock.
"He didn't do a fast time at all, but he is bred to be a 1m2f horse so you would not expect it – he is out of a Medaglia D'Oro mare from Stormy Atlantic's family," said Brown. "He is a phenomenal mover, he has a wonderful way of going. He has been bought for our Never Sy Die resale syndicate. We will put hm in a field for two weeks now and he will probably go to David's in September with a view to probably running on the All-Weather through the autumn.
It has been a good season for Ger and Yvonne Kennedy of Sherbourne Lodge, the couple also selling the only breeze up lot by first-season Goken this spring for 60,000gns at the Tattersalls Guineas Breeze Up Sale.
"Ger found him late on in the Fasig Sale," said Yvonne. "Buying in France and the US has been good to us this year, and there has been a lot of interest in the horse this spring."
The Kennedy's had to be patient to wait for today's sale.
"The sale companies have all been brilliant this season with everything this year. There is no place like an auction ring to find the true value of a horse."
The couple are heading home tonight, and have yearlings in ready for the next round of sales.
