Lot 12: the action kicks off early, and the first two-year-old in the ring catches the eye.

JJ Frisby both started off the bidding and the finished it off going to €50,000. His underbidder was Charlie Swan, who was standing in the gangway.

By Walk In The Park, the gelding, a third foal out of the Oscar mare Kalico Kalista, an own-sister to the multiple graded placed hurdler Not Many Left and the graded placed chaser Coverholder, was sold by Ms Eileen Ryan. He is the best priced offspring out of the mare to date.

Walk In The Park is, of course, the sire of this year's leading novice hurdler and Derby Sale 2019 graduate Jonbon, a current 7/2 chance for the Grade 1 Supreme Novices Hurdle. The sire also enjoyed success at Cheltenham on Saturday with the victory of Mullenbeg in the Listed mares' bumper. (10:36)

Lot 42: Gerry Hogan Bloodstock goes to €20,000 for the Poet's Word colt out of Lady Knightess (Presenting), the winner of a bumper. Her first foal JPR One was the 6l winner of a novice hurdle at Taunton for trainer Colin Tizzard since the catalogue was published. The Court Cave five-year-old, a €30,000 Tattersalls November NH Foal graduate when bought by Redpender Stud, now has an official rating of 131 and holds entries at The Festival.

Second dam Soupinette (Noblequest) was a Listed hurdle winner in France and is a half-sister to Gastina, an 11-time winner, and twice a Listed hurdle winner at Auteuil. She was also placed third in the Pendil Novices Chase (G2) at Kempton.

The June-born colt was sold today by Ennel Bloodstock. (11:22)

Lot 60: foals by Crystal Ocean were hot property at the Tattersalls Ireland November NH Sale – the 30 offered from the sire's debut crop averaged €35,257 with a top price of €120,000 given by Kevin Ross Bloodstock / Ben Case.

Ross goes again here this time spending €25,000 on the Ballincurrig House Stud-offered filly out of Maid Of Might (Flemensfirth), who is the dam of one winner from one runner. She is an own-sister to O O Seven, winner of the Guinness Handicap Chase (G1) and a runner-up in the Punchestown Champion Novice Hurdle (G1) and the Tolworth Hurdle (G1). (12:08)

Lot 63: Jamestown House Stud goes to €25,000 for this colt by Shirocco and out of Maryota (Martaline).

Sold by Walshtown Stables, the colt is a half-brother to three winners, including Mr Glass, who finished third in this season's Tolworth Novices' Hurdle (G1) behind Constitution Hill. He is trained by Paul Nicholls, is rated 129 and is a graduate of this sale when he was sold for €25,000 to Ormonde Bloodstock by Rathbarry Stud.

Maryota is a half-sister to Yanworth, a 13-time winner and two-time Grade 1 hurdle hero. (12:22)

Lot 78: the yearling by Walk In The Park makes €60,000, bought by Jason Higgins from Ardrums House Stud.

"He is by a very popular sire, he is a lovely loose moving colt, I could not fault him. We'll see how it goes, he might be resold as a store horse or we might race or point-to-point him," said Higgins, who is based in Enniscorthy and is a Grand Prix showjumper, event rider, pinhooker, point-to-point and sports horse producer.

The colt is the fourth foal out of Myztique (High Chaparral), who was placed in a Listed bumper and was runner-up in the Grade 3 Shannon Spray Novice Hurdle. It is the further family of Dun Doire, winner of the Grade 1 Thyestes Chase, and Belfast Banter, winner of Aintree's Top Novices' Hurdle (G1). (12:37)

Lot 104: the already named Perfect Ball, a French-bred colt by leading stallion No Risk At All out of the nine-time winning, Grade 1-placed Kapgarde mare Princesse Kap, makes €62,000.

Princesses Kap is a half-sister to the Listed Auteuil hurdle winner Prince Pretender and the Listed Auteuil hurdle placed Princesse Fiona, and is the dam of one winner from one runner.

The March 1st-born colt was sold by Ballincurrig House Stud to Kieran Shields.

Consignor Michael Moore of Ballincurrig said: "I bought him privately from the breeder, who is based in Normandy. A friend happened to be in the yard and saw the foal and rang me, we bought him together. No Risk At All is a brilliant stallion and she was a good race mare, but she has to go on and produce now.

"No Risk At All is very sought after and sold well in the autumn, so we thought we'd come and chance our arm."

One of the best by No Risk At All so far is the Ryanair Chase winner Allaho. He is out of a mare by Turgeon, also the sire of Princesse Turgeon, the dam of Princesse Kap. (13:33)

Lot 113: regular Tattersalls Ireland buyer Richard Rohan goes to €36,000 for the Garryrichard Stud-consigned Blue Bresil colt out of Roaming Wild (Presenting). She is a half-sister to the Grade 1-winning chaser Ground Ball and to the Becher Chase (L) winner and second placed Mr Pointment.

Blue Bresil (Smadoun), who stands at Rathbarry Stud, is sire of the hugely promising Tolworth Hurdle (G1) winner Constitution Hill. His 22 foals sold at the November NH Sale fetched an average price of €22,766 and a top price of €56,000. (14:35)

Lot 132: by the Burgage Stud's stallion Jukebox Jury, this colt sold by Limefield Stud makes €27,000, bought by Michael Murray's Hardwood Stud. He is out of the winning and Listed-placed bumper mare Snag List (Shantou), a daughter of Back Log (Bob Back) who was Listed placed on the Flat. She is the dam of seven winners from nine foals.

On the Flat, Jukebox Jury is sire of Princess Zoe, winner of the 2020 Prix du Cadran (G1) and fifth in the 2021 renewal. The sire's leading NH performer is the 151-rated, five -time winner Farclas (14:51)

Lot 172: the Getaway half-sister to the Grade 1 Scilly Isles Novice Chase winner Sporting John, the recent winner of a Warwick handicap hurdle off a BHA mark of 151, is bought for €30,000 by Orchardstown Farms.

Dam Wild Spell (Oscar), who has produced three winners from four runners, is a half-sister to the black-type winner Lucky Baloo and to the dam of Oscar Whisky. He was a ten-time winner, three-times at Grade 1 level, victories that also included success in the Scilly Isles. (15:52)

Lot 173: the four-time Ascot Gold Cup winner Yeats is currently heading the British and Irish NH stallion table with earnings of just over £1,500,000 achieved by 92 winners, buyer John Lynch will be hoping that will be a lucky omen after going to €41,000 for the Castledillon Stud-consigned colt by the sire and out of the winning Definite Article mare Wood Lily.

She has already had a black-type placed runner called Emily Moon (Beneficial).

The pedigree stretches back to the three-time Group 1 winner Best Mate, and his talented own-brothers Cornish Rebel and Inca Trail, half-brother Inexorable, and to the mare China Sky. Also by Definite Article, she is the dam of Champ, winner of the Grade 1 Long Walk Hurdle in December and runner-up in the Cleeve Hurdle (G2) at Cheltenham last weekend. (16:10)

Lot 183: Aisance (Saint Des Saints) has had just one runner so far, and although Maclaine, a son of Masked Marvel, trained by Oliver Sherwood for owner Tim Syder, has yet to win, the five-year-old looks ready to fill that gap after finishing a good third in a competitive novice hurdle on his third start at Newbury.

Team Frisby will be hoping Maclaine gets a "1" by his name having gone to €48,000 for Aisance's 2021 May-born colt by Blue Bresil.

Aisance did not win herself but is a full-sister to Wait For Me, who finished third in the Weatherbys Champion Bumper (G1). (16:34)

Lot 195: James Doyle is playing the long game having invested in Lot 195, a yearling colt by Milan, as a point-to-point prospect. The colt is the first foal out of Ballincard Saint (Fame And Glory), a half-sister to the three-time Grade 1 winner Appreciate It, current second-favourite for the Champion Hurdle (G1), and to the three-time winner and Grade 2-placed Danny Kirwan.

“He is a good sort, he stood out a mile, if he came back as three-year-old he would cost double,” said Doyle. “He is eye-catching, he has it all and is a good solid sort with a bit of presence and strength. The model that he is he looks as though be a fine three-year-old in time.

"It is a great pedigree and we have been lucky with the sire and he will probably go pointing.”

Appreciate It holds an entry in this weekend's Chanelle Pharma Irish Champion Hurdle. It is a race he won last year, but trainer Willie Mullins has not yet committed to a decision regarding participation this weekend – if the son of Jeremy takes his chance he would have the significant challenge of taking on Honeysuckle. Lot 218: options are open for the Sholokhov colt bought by Gearoid O'Loughlin for €50,000 from Rathkenty Stud – O'Loughlin said that the April-born colt could either be sold as a store horse or he might be retained to go point-to-pointing.

He also described his new purchase as "beautiful".

The colt boasts a fine pedigree being out of a Beneficial half-sister to last year's Cheltenham Gold Cup (G1) winner Minella Indo and an own-sister to Benatar, who was a Grade 2 winner over fences and who finished third in the Golden Miller Novice Chase (G1). (17:47)

Lot 202: the only filly in the catalogue by the Knockhouse Stud stallion Tirwanako (Sin Kiang) is sold by Knockhouse to Ballykerghan Stables for €35,000.

She is a half-sister to Watch House Cross (Libertarian), the four-year-old winner of a point-to-point in 2021 and a debut winner over hurdles on St Stephen's Day. Trained by Henry de Bromhead, the Tattersalls May Store Sale graduate is entered in this weekend's Tattersalls Ireland Novice Hurdle (G1) at Leopardstown, as well as in the Supreme Novices' Hurdle (G1) and the Ballymore Novices' Hurdle (G1) at The Festival. Lot 262: the demand for stock by Blue Bresil shows no sign of abating... interest in this colt from Lough Na Solis Stud came from all around the ring but in the end it was Ian Ferguson who was successful at €46,000.

The June-born colt has a fine pedigree being a half-brother to the black-type placed pair of Lieutenant Rocco (Shirocco) and Condesa (Sholokhov). His dam is a Presenting own-sister to First Lieutenant, a Grade 1 winner over hurdles and fences.

Third dam Sea Gale was a two-time Listed winner over fences, and is ancestress of Shop DJ, a six-time winner and Grade 1 placed. She is now dam of Hillcrest, winner of the Listed Ballymore Novices' Hurdle. (19:00)

Lot 298A: Robin de Carlow, the wild card entry in the mares' section, is bought by Michael Moore of Ballincurrig House Stud for €70,000.

“She has been bought for a client of Ballincurrig's and goes to England," said Moore. "We don't know what the plans are yet, but the progeny will be kept to race."

When asked what the buyer liked about the daughter of Robin des Champs, Moore added: "He just thought she is a quality mare."

The Shannon Spray Novice Hurdle (G3) and Like A Butterfly Novice Chase (G3) winner was consigned by trainer Willie Mullins's Closutton Stables for owner Catchherifucan & Brett Graham Syndicate.

Robin de Carlow won eight races and £117,589 in prize-money earnings. Her second dam Nas Na Riogh (King's Theatre) won the Finale Junior Hurdle (G1) at Chepstow. (20:22)

Lot 7: the filly by Flemensfirth is the first today to fetch over €30,000, sold by Walshtown Stables for €34,000 to Denis Murphy's Ballyboy Stables.

She was offered at the 2019 November Sale as a foal by Lough Na Sollis Stud and not sold at €7,000.

The decision paid dividends today.

An April-born foal, she is the first out of Pietralunga (Solider Of Fortune), a two-time winner on the Flat and over hurdles in France.

Flemensfirth's headline act in the 2021-22 season was, of course, Tornado Flyer, winner of the King George Chase VI (G1) at Kempton. (11:13)

Lot 10: fillies are leading the way in the early stint of the May Store Sale.

The already named Lady Balko (Balko), out of the winning Presenting mare Present From Paris, is bought for €27,000 from Mike Conaghan's Evergreen Stud.

The successful purchaser was Matthew Flynn O'Connor's point-to-point operation Ballycrystal Stables, and O'Connor will be hoping the run of form he has enjoyed the Tattersalls Cheltenham sales of late continues with this new purchase.

The farm topped the Cheltenham December Sale with Deeply Superficial, a winning four-year-old filly by Flemenesfirth bought by Aidan O'Ryan / Gordon Elliott for £385,000. She was a previous Ballycrystal Syndicate Derby Sale purchase for €31,000.

The stable also sold that sale's fourth-best priced lot – Stay Away Fay (Shantou) , who made £305,000. At this year's Cheltenham January Sale, Ballycrystal sold the point-to-point runner-up Supreme Commander (Fame And Glory) for £105,000. (11:40)

Lot 41: the Berwickshire-based trainer Sandy Thompson trains the admirable 145 BHA-rated gelding Dingo Dollar and today came to Fairyhouse sale ring to buy the gelding's Golden Lariat full-brother offered by Ballyhast House for breeder Fintan Farrell.

Thompson was successful in his mission at €35,000.

"We came here for him," said Thompson. "He is for the owners of Dingo Dollar, and it made sense to buy him – they were wanting a store horse and one to eventually step into Dingo's shoes."

As to similarities between the two brothers, Thompson said: "It is difficult to tell as I did not have Dingo as a young horse, but I don't think he will get to be as big, but he also looks a staying chaser in the making."

Dingo Dollar, who finished a three-quarter length second in the 2021 Scottish Grand National and unseated in the Grand National this spring, is currently on his holidays. Thompson outlined a possible veterans' chase campaign for the 10-year-old next season, with a view to ending up at Ayr in April, where he'd have a good chance to get his favoured good ground.

Golden Lariat's best result through the 2021-22 season came courtesy of his Irish Grand National-winning son, Lord Lariat. (12:22)

Lot 57: Jango Baie, by Tiger Groom is sold by the Bleahen brothers of Lakefield Farm for €30,000 to Michael Goff of Moate Stables, signed for by Matt Gahan.

"I had a good horse Daly Tiger, who is by the same sire, Noel Meade has him now and he has won a couple of big handicaps,"explained the County Wexford-based Goff after buying the three-year-old.

"We will point-to-point this horse. He looks a beautiful horse. I bought the last one from the Bleahens as well, they do a very good job at producing these horses."

Of plans, Goff added: "We will get some tack on him at the end of the week. This is a good sale, it is early enough and gives us a bit of time. We will break them in, throw them out and let them have some grass, and bring them back in for the autumn."

The gelding's unraced dam Tennessee (Kapgarde) is a half-sister to Rhode Island (Crillon), a nine-time winner and Listed placed over jumps in France. (13:11)

Lot 68: sold by the Bleahen Brothers' Liss House, the named son of Buck's Boum, the French-bred J'Suis Kashe Bam's, makes €47,000 and is bought by Joey Logan.

"He is a racey type of horse, I bought him for myself to bring home and get him going," outlined Logan. "He has come from a good team of lads, I am not sure yet of long term plans, we will see if he is going to head to the track or go down the point-to-point route. There are plenty of options for him.

"I have bought a few by Buck's Boum, but they are young horses and have not run yet. This mare was good herself and I hope this horse is lucky."

Of the new improvements to the sale and paddock ring area, unveiled for this sale, Logan said: "It is brilliant, a great job, it is making a huge difference when you are showing horses, such a difference. It is much safer for everybody, too."

J'Suis Kashe Bam's is a first foal out of Urkashe (Clety), a five-time winner, second in a Listed chase at Auteuil and fourth in a Grade 3 chase at the same track. (13:31)

Lot 102: this strong son of Workforce, sold by Rathyork Stud, is bought by Colin Bowe as a point-to-point prospect at €48,000.

"We had a nice filly by Workforce, and we've been beat by a few as well, they have been very good in the point-to-points this year. They look like they will stay and jump," said Bowe. "This is a big strong horse, he has size and scope."

Workforce, the 2010 Epsom Derby winner, was retired to stud at the Shadai Stallion Station in Japan where he stood for five years, returning to Ireland to Knockhouse Stud in 2017. His first Irish-born crop are four-year-olds of this year, with Man O Work a flag-bearer – he won a Naas bumper on his second career start and went on to win over hurdles. He ran in the Grade 1 Champion Four Year Old Hurdle at Punchestown.

The sire, who is by King's Best, has had two point-to-point winners, both who have subsequently been sold at Tattersalls Cheltenham sales, alongside one who was a "near miss".

Man At Work, who fell on his pointing debut when he was due to finish second to the well-regarded Barry The Butcher and beat Croke Park, made £155,000 bought by Tom Malone and David Pipe, while Largy Force, one of the sire's two winners and successful on his only point-to-point start to date, was bought by Highflyer Bloodstock for £85,000. Both were sold at the Tattersalls Cheltenham April Sale.

At the Cheltenham Festival Sale, the stallion's other winner Givehimthehonour, trained by Denis Murphy, was bought by Gerry Hogan Bloodstock and Paul Nolan Bloodstock for £75,000.

The gelding is out of the Presenting mare Blazing Dawn, a daughter of the dual Listed winner and Grade 3 placed hurdler Blazing Sky and a half-sister to Riverside City, winner of the Troytown Handicap Chase (G2). (14:53)

Lot 99: "She is a lovely filly lovely walk to her, and she has a great outlook," said Rob James after buying this filly by champion NH sire Yeats for €6,000, adding: "The vendor does a very good job. We really loved her and she has been bought by myself and Colin Bowe – we were lucky together with Telmesomethinggirl, who was from this sale."

Of the next steps for this new purchase, he said: "She will probably come back to me to be broken in, and then maybe go onto Colin's then."

Telmesomethinggirl was bought by James at this sale for €39,000 in 2018, and Bowe and James sold the daughter of Stowaway to Rathmore Stud at the Cheltenham Festival Sale 2019 for £150,000 after she won a point-to-point.

She is now a Grade 2 Cheltenham Festival winner and is cover star – she features on the back of this sale's catalogue. (14:45)

Lot 148: another by Workforce catches the eyes of. the buying bench, this gelding offered by Raheeduff Stables makes €42,000. He will have a date ahead in the point-to-point field, purchased by point-t-point rider and trainer Harley Dunne, his fifth purchase so far today.

"They have been successful in their point-to-points and looks to be a good solid promising sire," said Dunne. "This horse is a lovely, big and beautiful individual, he looks a good chasing type. We will get him home, get him broken and get him a good summer of grass and go from there. Hopefully, he will be out next in a four-year-old point-to-point!"

His unraced dam Gaye Flora (Alflora) is a half-sister to the Grade 2-placed hurdler Courleur France from the family of talented performers Simon, Black Humour and the Champion Hurdle winner Gaye Brief. (16:40)

Lot 162: Blue Bresil has been earning the plaudits on the track through the winter, primarily through his exciting Festival-winning son Constitution Hill, and this filly by the sire was popular with buyers fetching €36,000. She was sold by Rathturtin Stud.

She is the second foal out of the Robin des Champs mare Im Des Champs and from the family of the Gold Cup and four-time Grade 1winner Denman. (17:06)

Lot 169: from Boardsmill Stud, this Califet gelding, closely related to the multiple Grade 1 winner Clarcam, sells for €30,000, bought by Grange Stables.

The May-born first foal is out of the Journeyrose (Great Journey), who is a half-sister to Clarcam. He was a ten-time winner and Grade 1 winner of the Aintree Juvenile Hurdle (G1), the Galway Plate (G1), the Manifesto Novices Chase (G1), the Christmas Novice Chase (G1).

The family also includes the good performers Bonbon Rose, Irish Saint, and Pic D'Orhy. (17:41)

Lot 179: "He is a fine, big horse, a gorgeous horse," said Denis Murphy of Ballyboy Stables after buying the son of Affinsea for a new top price of €50,000.

"He was my pick of the sale. We will get him home, break him in and please god we will be back for a point-to-point in the spring."

Of the gelding's breeding, Murphy outlined: "I have not had one by the sire yet, but they have been beating me! I also love the fact that the mare is by Jeremy."

The dam Knockalane Hill is a half-sister to On Fiddlers Green, runner-up in a Grade 2 over hurdles.

The gelding was sold by Knockalane House, the property of Elizabeth Davies. (17:49)

Lot 202: a fourth lot sells for €36,000, this time a Mahler gelding from Clonmore Cottage Stables, the property of Louise O'Regan. He is bought by Brendan Bashford, and the underbidder was Mouse O'Ryan.

The bay gelding is the third foal out of the Sendawar mare Mandawar, a half-sister to the Grade 2 chaser Maralan and the Grade 3 performer Marikhar.

Mahler sired 81 winners at a 30 per cent strike rate through 2021-22 and finished in 12th place on the NH sires' table. (18:41)

Lot 215: the daughter of Jukebox Jury, a half-sister to Bon Dundee, Grade 2 and Grade 1 placed, makes €40,000. She is another filly bought by the Rob James and Colin Bowe partnership. She was sold by Mount Brown Farm.

The filly's grand-dam Deep Estee is an own-sister to the Dr P J Moriarty Novice Chase (G2) winner Nick Dundee and a half-sister to Ned Kelly, a multiple graded race winner and placed, including at Grade 1 level.

Jukebox Jury, who stands at Burgage Stud, has had winners at the highest level on the Flat and under NH rules. (19:09)

Lot 10: The Cityscape colt sold by Cormac Farrell and Anna Calder's Leamore Horses Ltd makes €80,000, bought by Blandford Bloodstock.

The colt was bred by Mount Coote Stud, and breeder Luke Lillingston was all smiles after the sale.

"I kept four yearling colts last year, which I did not send to a a yearling sale – none of them were by 'sexy' stallions, but they were all horses I liked a lot," explained Lillingston. "Two of them are now in training in Ireland, I sent one to sell in Dubai, and this is the other.

"I sent him to Cormac Farrell as he is a guy I have owed a favour for a long time. He is a super guy and he has done a brilliant job with the horse. We always liked the horse at home, but Cormac has done a great job, and I thought Jake Cohen rode him beautifully, too."

Of the price, Lillingston added: "I was not expecting that! Cormac has telling me that the horse was very popular and had done everything well and it is nice to see a nice horse making a good price. This horse has a wonderful attitude, a good attitude is a big big help and I think helped him show himself off."

It is the family of the Listed winner Katy Nowaitee and the Group 2 winner Move Swiftly. (11:10)

Lot 20: the daughter of Kingman from the Wildenstein family pedigree of the Group 2 winner Loup Breton and the champion Loup Sauvage is bought by German trainer Michael Figge, who trains in Munich.

The trainer was given the task of finding a well-bred French filly for one of his owners, and he felt that this Grove Stud-consigned filly fitted the bill. She cost her new connections €70,000.

"I liked her how she looked, how she walked, how she galloped and on her pedigree she looks good value for money, she has got breeding value and hopefully she will be good to race, too! I am happy to get her," said Figge, who purchased the filly alongside Paul Harley Bloodstock.

"We might run her first in Germany and then go to France with her," he added.

The May-born filly is out of the Group 3 winner Lil'wing and was bought in France as a foal by Baroda Stud from Ecurie des Monceaux (11:43)

Lot 28: agent Federico Barberini goes to €78,000 for the French-bred Sea The Moon colt out of Mantissa (Oratorio), dam of the Listed winner and Preis der Diana (G1) runner-up Megera (Motivator).

"He is a very nice horse, bred to stay and be a nice back-end three-year-old. He is by a Derby winner and a half-brother to a Group 1 second. He is French-bred and goes back to France and goes to Alessandro Botti," said Barberini.

The colt was bought by Midland Equine for €30,000 and was sold today by Adrian Costello's Clenagh Castle Stud. (11:51)

Lot 31: the Dubai-based trainer Bhupat Seemar has been on a bit of a breeze up journey and buying mission for the last month, and the trainer's journey brought him to Fairyhouse to add to his shopping collection, he strikes for this colt by Caravaggio, the only two-year-old in the sale by the sire.

"He is by Caravaggio by Scat Daddy, he has a lovely action, he did a beautiful breeze, he is good looking horse and he looks like he will go on the Dirt – he has all the attributes we are looking for," explained Seemar, adding of his European tour: "I have been living out of my suitcase, I have not been home for a month! But it is all work, hopefully we have bought some good horses."

It is not Seemar's first visit to Tattersalls Ireland.

"We came to Fairyhouse a couple of years ago, before covid. We bought two and they were lucky – one was placed in the Guineas. It has been lucky for us to come here, hopefully it was stay that way!"

The colt, who is a half-brother to the Listed winner and Group 3 Curragh Stakes third-placed Sirici (Choisir), was a €35,000 yearling purchase and was sold today by Ballinahulla Stables (12:00)

Lot 52: the Dark Angel filly from Yeomanstown Stud makes 70,000gns, bought by Nick Bradley Racing. She was a vendor buy back as a yearling.

She is out of the Rose Bowl Stakes (L) third and two-year-old winner Plagiarism (Lonhro), a half-sister to the Queen Mary Stakes (G2) winner Signora Cabello (Camacho) and to the stakes-placed pair La Presse (Gone West) and Emirates Girl (Unbridled's Song). (12:40)

Lot 55 and Lot 60: trainer Michael O'Callaghan, who is such a strong supporter of the breeze up sale division, buys two in quick succession – he goes to €72,000 for a colt by Galileo Gold from Tally-Ho Stud, Joanna Morgan the underbidder, and then spends €78,000 on Lot 60, a colt by Dutch Art from Brown Island Stables.

The Galileo Gold colt is a first foal out of Providence (Acclamation), a daughter of the good Listed winner Innocent Air and from the family of the top-class runners Proportional and Folk Opera, while the Brown Island-sold colt is out of the Firth Of Clyde Stakes (G3) winner Rosebride (Mayson) and a grandson of Wedding Party (Groom Dancer), who was second in the Radley Stakes (L) and dam of Party Doctor.

"They are two nice horses with plenty of size, they have did two very professional breezes," said O'Callaghan. "I really liked the look of Johnny Collins' horse, he has a lovely shape to him and a bit of a pedigree, too. The Galileo Gold colt did a solid breeze, looks a 7f horse, he is the first by the sire I have had." (12:50)
