Lot 529: John Cullinane spends €18,000 on a colt by Elzaam sold by Ballyhane.
"He has been bought for Ger Lyons, for his in-house syndicate, Gaelic Bloodstock.
"The colt is a nice type, with a good page, Ger has had some luck with the sire and this colt should be ideal for the auction races."
He is out of the Singspiel mare Vocal, a half-sister to Chorist, winner of the Pretty Polly Stakes (G1).
Third dam Blessed Event was placed second in the Yorkshire Oaks (G1), and is dam of the Great Voltigeur Stakes (G2) winner, Sacrament. (11:48)
Lot 518: Blandford Bloodstock goes to €10,000 to buy a daughter of first-crop sire Ajaya, a son of Invincible Spirit.
She was sold by Springfort Park Stud and is from the family of the Golden Jubilee Stakes (G1) and Nunthorpe Stakes (G1) winner Kingsgate Native. (11:45)
Lot 539: Tomas Janda goes to €15,000 for the daughter of new sire Twilight Son, sold by Kilcarn Park.
"She is going to be trained in Czech with Mr Luka, he is the best trainer in Central Europe," said Janda. "She looks as though she will run at two and if she is good enough she can travel to run in France, the owner likes to have runners there.
"We like the sire and bought another by him yesterday, we were nearly out of budget for his filly!" (12:12)
Lot 568: is bought for €16,000, the purchaser John Clarke, acting on behalf of Sunderland Holdings.
"He is a gorgeous individual," said Clarke. "Mrs Tsui is keen to support Born To Sea – he has been very popular in France and covered over a 100 mares last spring.
"We have not discussed plans yet for this horse."
Sire Born To Sea previously stood at the Irish National Stud, and relocated to Haras des Faunes for 2019. (13:19)
Lot 584: the Champs Elysees colt out of Coco In Love goes to Colville Bloodstock for €18,000.
He is the fourth foal out of the Hurricane Run mare, a half-sister to the Listed winner Coco City, and to Carilo, runner-up in a Grade 2 over hurdles in France and third at Grade 1 level. (13:48)
Lot 591: a Vadamos colt fetches €23,000, bought by Hamish Macauley.
He is out of Craftybird, a daughter of Mastercraftsman, and a winner over hurdles as a three-year-old.
A NH programme is in mind for this colt too.
"He will be reconsigned as a store horse, probably in the May sale, where I would hope he would be a stand out," said Macauley.
"He is a good-walking sort, and was recommended by Michael Gleeson of Aughamore Stud."
He is from the extended family of the Group 1-winning two-year-old Pharoah's Delight (14:14)
Lot 594: Foxford Stud's Dandy Man colt sells for €20,000, bought by trainer David Evans.
He is a half-brother to Ask Me Not, a three-time two-year-old winner in France this year. (14:15)
Lot 608: the Dandy Man colt from Ballygowan Stud makes €27,000, bought by Federico Barberini.
"She is a gorgeous filly,"said Barberini, "and her two-year-old full-sister is a winner now.
"Dandy Man is a very good sire, as good with fillies ass he is with colts."
The half-sister Elegant Erin is in training with Richard Hannon, is the winner of one and rated 74. (14:37)
Lot 616: David Appleton, assistant to bloodstock agent Alex Elliott, buys this colt by Sir Prancealot for €24,000.
"We are big fans of the stallion and this looks a real sharp early two-year-old type," said Appleton. "She goes to Brian Ellison – hopefully she will be another for the sales race."
Out of the Titus Livius mare French Doll, he is a half-brother to the winner Rapid Rise.
Elliott Bloodstock Services purchased Stone Circle at the September Yearling Sale in 2018 – the son of No Nay Never went on to win the Tattersalls Ireland Super Auction Sale Stakes at The Curragh on Irish Champions weekend. (14:50)
Lot 645: the colt by Al Kazeem, one of two catalogue here this week, sells for €42,000. He was sold by The Castlebridge Consignment
He was purchased by the Dubai-based owner Nasir Askar with County Kildare-based trainer Michael Halford – he already trains Sky Seven for the owner.
"We just loved the horse," said Halford. "We selected him on pedigree and on physical – he was one of our picks of the week.
"He will come into training with me."
The colt is a half-brother to seven winners, including the Group 2 and Grade 2 winner Treat Gently and Ideology, a Listed third in France.
His second dam is Kerali, a daughter of Juddmonte's blue hen broodmare Hasili.
The Oakgrove Stud stallion Al Kazeem has had small books due to a reduced fertility, but the son of Dubawi produced his first Group 1 winner at the weekend with Aspetar's success in the Preis von Europa at Cologne. (15:56)

Lot 3: Richard Frisby, last year's second-leading buyer at the November NH Sale, gets off the mark early in the opening yearling session – the pin-hooker spends €14,000 on the Elusive Pimpernel gelding out of Leamybe. (12:44)

Lot 21: Rathbeg Stud goes to €18,000 for the Shirocco gelding ex Rahila (Kalanisi). She is a daughter of Rayseka, winner of the Royal Whip Stakes (G3), and runner-up in the Irish St Leger (G1). (13:17)
Lot 50: the Ballyreddin Stud-consigned gelding by Doctor Dino is bought by Oak Tree Farm's Norman Williamson for €100,000.
Already named Ecrin Vert, the gelding is now a half-brother to Dreams Wish (Dream Well) now the winner of a Grade 2 chase at Auteuil since the catalogue was published.
"The update made him expensive," said Williamson. "He is a stand out, a gorgeous horse by a good sire, there were plenty in who thought the same."
It is the most given for a yearling at the November NH Sale since 2007 when Bobby O'Ryan gave €130,000 for a Milan gelding out of I Remember It Well from Slaney River Stud.
Underbidders included Katie Rudd, Joey Logan and Ian Ferguson.
He is the only lot catalogued at this year's November Sale by leading French-based sire Doctor Dino, the sire of the top performers Sharjah, La Bague Au Roi, Sceau Royal and Master Dino.
This gelding was produced off a €4,500 stud fee. That fee was increased to €8,000 for 2018 and €12,500 for 2019.
Doctor Dino is due to stand at €16,000 for 2020, a record price for a NH sire.
Williamson will be hoping that the gelding can repeat the feat achieved by an Oaks Farm Stables gelding this year – the farm topped the Derby Sale with a gelding by Martaline. (13:34)
Lot 68: Burgage Stud sells the Shantou gelding for €62,000 to Timmy Hillman.
"He is by a great sire who is in flying form," said Hillman. "He is a lovely horse. We usually buy as foals but this is a lovely horse."
The gelding is a full-bother to Sevarano, winner of a bumper in 2018 and a winner over hurdles since the catalogue was published. (14:12)
Lot 76: it might be cold outside but its been a red hot day for Ballyreddin Stud – the consignor selling its Kitkou gelding for €45,000 to James Mernagh, just 16 lots after its Doctor Dino gelding sold for €100,000.
"They are both lovely individuals,"said John Dwan. "They were both bought in private sales at the beginning of the year.
"It was not definite that we were going to sell as yearlings, but you can't bring them all back as three-year-olds. The Doctor Dino has always been a lovely horse and, of course, the update came just in time.
"Kitkou is a young sire, but we'd had some luck before with him."
Both are French-bred yearlings, and Dwan added: "French-bred horses are so very successful on the track.
"We spend a lot of time sourcing these horses, I am out in France a lot – it is big country to get around, but we have a good relationship with the breeders."
The unraced Kitkou's first crop are now two-year-olds. He is an own-brother to the Grade 1-winning chaser Kotkikova (Martaline).
Buyer James Mernagh said: "I thought this was a lovely horse, the nicest here today. He will be back for the Derby Sale." (14:41)
€100,000 for the yearling son of Doctor Dino headlines day one of the November NH Sale It was a red-hot start to the 2019 November NH Sale for Ballyreddin Stud, the consignor selling two of the top three lots on the opening day of the sale. The first in the ring for John Dwan's consignment was a gelding by Doctor Dino (Lot 50) bought as a pin-hook store horse prospect by Oak Tree Farm's Norman Williamson for €100,000.
Already named Ecrin Vert, the gelding is a half-brother to DREAM WISH (Dream Well), the winner of the Grade 2 Prix Congress and the Listed Prix Noiro Chase, both at Auteuil since the catalogue was published. "The update made him expensive," said Williamson of the only lot catalogued this week by the leading French-based sire. "He is a standout, a gorgeous horse by a good sire, there were plenty in here who thought the same." Those thwarted underbidders included Katie Rudd, Joey Logan and Ian Ferguson. The day's second-best price of €62,000 was given by pin-hooker Timmy Hillman for a son of Shantou consigned by Burgage Stud (Lot 68).

Lot 129: the first in this week of a large draft by the recently deceased Boardsmill Stud sire Mount Nelson fetches €21,000.
The June-born colt, a half-brother to the six-time winner Listen To The Man (Court Cave) was bought by Peter Moloney signing as Rathmore Stud. (10:38)
Lot 141 and Lot 142: two consecutive lots catch the eye.
The Mount Nelson colt from Ashbrooke Farm (Lot 141) makes €19,000, bought by Brandon View Stud.
He is followed in the ring by a Soldier Of Fortune colt, the second foal out of Molly's Affair. Clifton Farm was the successful purchaser at €20,000. (11:42)
Lot 165: Mount Nelson's stock cornering the early market – this colt offered by Prospect Stables for owner Ronan Ely makes €23,000, bought by Springhill Stud.
The May-born colt is out of Coca's Well (Religiously), the dam of three winers from three runners, including the eight-time winner and Grade 1 handicap chase winner Nearly Nama'd. (11:59)
Lot 182: Jimmy Murphy of Redpeder Stud buys this Soldier Of Fortune colt on two bids.
He is taking the colt home from The Beeches Stud after spending €37,000.
The April bay colt is out of Oilily, a daughter of Dr Massini who was a Grade 1 runner-up in the Champion INH Flat race and a Grade 3 winner of the Joe Mac Novices Hurdle.
"He is out of good mare and hopefully we will keep him in one piece and come back to the Derby Sale," said Murphy.
Soldier Of Fortune moved to the Beeches Stud from Haras du Logis Saint Germain for the 2016 covering season. His first Irish-conceived crop will be three-year-olds of 2020. He has stood at a €8,000 covering fee throughout his time in Ireland. (12:28)
Lot 212: the second foal in the ring this week by Getaway fetches €28,000.
From the Sheridan HouseStables draft, the May colt is the third foal out of the young Scorpion mare Holly Royale.
The good-walking sort was bought by Adrian Costello of Park Farm. (13:21)
Lot 231: Mark Dwyer of Oaks Farm Stables backs his judgement a second time – the buyer going to €45,000 for this son of Soldier Of Fortune
At this sale last year Dwyer bought the colt's year older full-brother for €63,000.
"We like the yearling and we are giving Soldier Of Fortune a chance." said Dwyer.
"I thought this colt was one of the nicest today – I wasn't disappointed when I saw him. The mare is throwing good foals."
Offered by Robert O'Callaghan's Chancery Stables, the colt is out of the bumper winner Bells Walks Day (Flemensfirth).
She is a full-sister to Time For Rupert, an eight-time winner and runner-up in the World Hurdle (G1). (14:05)
Lot 258: Peter Moloney buys a second today, the purchaser going to €31,000 for the Sholokhov colt out of Una Sorpesca (Banyumanik).
He was sold by Dromahane Stud, the property of Roisin O'Brien.
Una Sorpesca is a half-sister to the German-bred racemare United, a Grade 1 winner over hurdles. (14:57)
Lot 265: "We know the family well; we bred Blazing Emily and she now has black-type," said Peter Moloney of Rathmore Stud after going to €45,000 for this colt by Court Cave.
He is out of Blazing West, a Westerner half-sister to Blazing Tempo, winner of the Grade 1 Galway Plate. She is dam of Blazing Emily.
"This colt seems fairly typical of the family – a good big chasing type. I like the sire and this is a lovely horse," added Moloney of the Peter Nolan Bloodstock-consigned youngster.
It is the talented further family of the multiple Grade 1-winning chaser and hurdler, Danoli. (15:19)
Lot 291: the Westerner colt from Yellowford Farm makes €28,000.
Her dam Other Salsa is a half-sister to Othermix, winner of the Grade 2 Prix Amadou Hurdle and runner-up in the Pendil Novices Chase (G2), and to Oh Crick, winner of the Rum Handicap Chase (G3).
This colt's 2016-born full-brother fetched €27,000 at this sale in 2016, pinhooked by Rathturtin Stud.
Reconsigned at the 2019 Derby Sale, the colt made €65,000, bought by Monbeg Stables. (16:08)
Lot 294: becomes this week's first foal to top €50,000 when selling to Timmy Hillman of Castledillon Stud for €62,000.
"He is a lovely racy colt by Flemensfirth," said Hillman of , who also bought Lot 293 (Diamond Boy, €22,000) and then Lot 298 (Milan, €48,000) from the draft.
All three colts were consigned by Ballincurrig House Stud and Hillman said: "All have been very well produced by Mike [Moore]."
The most expensive of the trio is a second foal out of the Robin Des Pres mare Whizzzey Rascal, a half-sister to Clondaw Warrior, winner of the Galway Handicap Hurdle (G1).
It is also the further family of the tough and exceptional runner, Night Nurse.
The Milan colt is out of an own-sister to the Gold Cup (G1) and three-time Cheltenham Festival winner Bobs Worth. (16:23)
Lot 316: Kieran Shields goes to €31,000 for the first Kayf Tara colt through the ring this week.
Sold by Ballincurrig House Stud, the colt is out of Golden Gael (Generous), winner of a Listed hurdle race for trainer Jeremy Scott.
She has had two previous foals - both fillies by the same Overbury Stud stallion. As foals they fetched €16,000 and €32,000 at the November NH Sale. (17:23)
Lot 336: the young mare Marie Des Anges (Balingarry) is turning out to be something of star and she is yet to have a runner.
Her first foal, a 2017 colt by Flemensfirth, was sold here in 2017 by Lisnagar Paddocks for breeder Lisa Pynes and fetched €60,000.
Her 2018 yearling filly, also by the reigning champion sire, has not been through a sale ring, while this year's foal, a filly also by Flemensfirth, has fetched €35,000 today.
She was bought by KCS Bloodstock's Michael Carty.
Marie Des Anges was also successful on the track – she won seven races, and was placed seven times over fences. She is an own-sister to Mister Snowball, a Listed hurdle winner in France. (17:56)
Lot 347: Kingston Hill's first crop are two-year-olds of this year and the Racing Post Trophy (G1) and St Leger winner has had five winners on the Flat so far.
He had six sell at the 2018 November NH Sale and they fetched an average price of €16,417.
The sire is currently holding form at this year's sale – his three sold here so far have averaged €17,166. (18:28)
Lot 353: Tally-Ho Stud puts it name on the buyers' list – Tony O'Callaghan spending €23,000 on the colt by Valirann, who stands at Whytemount Stud, also the consignor of this colt.
The colt is the beneficiary of a significant update – his second dam Mount Elbrus is dam of Lava Flow.
She is the dam of none other than Pinatubo, this year's top-rated two-year-old and highest-rated juvenile since Celtic Swing, who won the Racing Post Trophy by 12l in 1994. (18:57)
Lot 369: pin-hooker Johnny Collins shook his head and walked away wen asked to top Peter Molony's bid of €37,000gns for this colt by Mount Nelson, sold by Raheen Stud.
The April-born colt is out of Coquine d'Aunou, who was Grade 2 placed over hurdles. (19:01)
Day 3
Lot 390: Liswilliam Stud's son of Well Chosen is bought by Tessa Greatrex of Highflyer Bloodstock for €23,000.
The best by the Sadler's Wells sire so far is Jury Duty, who was fourth in the Grand National Hurdle Stakes (G1) at Far Hills at the middle of October, a race he won on 2018.
This colt boats an outstanding performer under his second dam in Sizing Granite, a nine-time winner of over £250,000 in earnings and two Grade 1 successes over fences.
Well Chosen stands at Kedrah House Stud. There are two just more catalogued by him due through the ring – a colt and a filly. (10:36)
Lot 402: the first in this morning by Walk In The Park makes €33,000, bought by Brendan Bashford Bloodstock.
Offered as part of the Coolcormack Stud draft, the bay colt in out of dual winner, a half-sister to the Grade 2-placed Ballyarthur. (10:43)
Lot 404: White Bloodstock sells the son of Blue Bresil is knocked down to Flash Conroy for €56,000.
"He is nice horse with good limbs, a good walking sort. The sire has been doing well and this is the first I have had by him," said Conroy.
Bleu Bresil who has recently moved from Yorton Stud to Glenvale enjoyed recent Grade 1 success in France courtesy of the filly L' Autonomie, an 18l winner of the Prix Renaud du Vivier for four-year-olds at Auteuil.
It is the best result at Fairyhouse to date for the consignor. (10:51)
Lot 431: the colt by Blue Bresil makes €38,000. He was sold by Yorton Farm which stood the stallion until this autumn.
This January-born foal was bought by Paul Cashman of Rathbarry and Glenview Studs, the farm that will be standing the son of Smadoun in future.
David Futter of Yorton admitted to some mixed emotions.
"We are a young farm and need to move froward - we have worked with Rathbarry before and it is one of the only farms we would have sold the stallion too," he said, adding: "I know Paul [Cashman] will support the sire as he had done here."
Of this colt, Flutter said: "I am not saying this on the off chance, but I do think this is the nicest foal we have bought to the sale. I think the Presenting on the dam side has come out strongly." (12:04)
Lot 433: Will Kinsey of Peel Hall Stables, based in Cheshire in the UK, was delighted with the sale of this Kayf Tara colt to Timmy Hillman for €65,000.
The colt is out of Amber Cloud (Lomitas), who was bought by Kinsey when he was training from fellow trainer Jonjo O'Neil.
"We only paid £3,500 for her and we just wanted her to win a race," he said.
"She is doing really well as a broodmare and has thrown some lovely foals. This colt has always been a star – and we wanted to come here with one that we thought a lot of so that people could see what we are about – thankfully it has worked out.
"He has been so busy here, he was really tired," added Kinsey.
Of the decision to send the mare Amber Cloud to the Overbury Stud sire, Kinsey said: "Kayf Tara is a great sire and we were keen to upgrade Amber Cloud as she has been having such good foals.
"She missed to him this spring and is now in-foal to Schiaparelli – Ronald Pump, a Grade 2 winner by him, is under the second dam of this pedigree."
Ronald Pump is the best so far by the young Schiaparelli, who stands alongside Kayf Tara at Overbury.
It was a good stint for Peel Hall's draft of three: Lot 434, a Black Sam Bellamy colt, was bought by Briown Ltd for €30,000. (12:15)
Lot 459: is the most expensive by Mount Nelson sold so far this colt, offered by Russellstown Stud, making €37,000 and bought by Tessa Greateex of highflyer Bloodstock.
The bay colt is out of the Kalanisi mare Run Like The Wind, a half-sister to No More Heroes (Presenting), winner of the Grade 1 Drinmore Novices Chase and the Fort Leney Novices Chase (G1).
It is also the family of Baring Bingham Novices Hurdle (G1) and Tipperkevin Hurdle (G1) winner Fiveforthree. (13:05)
Lot 482: becomes the foal section of the 2019 November NH sale's top price so far, the son of Getaway making €75,000. He was consigned by Ballintry Stud and bought by Aiden Murphy. He is out of the King's Theatre mare Wattle Bridge, the dam of a winner from two runners.
The second dam is the talented Be My Belle (the dam of Snake Eyes), while the black-type winners under his third dam, the Listed winner Boreen Belle, includes Rose Of Ichiquin, Empire Of Dirt, Panther Claw, and Monalee.
The foal was bred by Brendan Fitzpatrick, who bought Wattle Bridge as a yearling.
"I am a patient man!" joked Fitzpatrick. "I wanted a mare and could not afford to buy an older so decided to buy a yearling. I leased her to a racing club to run in England and then had her back to breed from."
Her colt was prepped by Ballintry Stud, and this is the County Meath-based farm's best sale at Fairyhouse to date.
"We prepped him for Brendan," said Joe Rogers of Ballintry. "He has been a lovely striaght-forward colt, easy to do. He has been very busy here, but has taken it all in his stride. I have to thank the team for all their hard work."
Wattle Bridge's production record may get even better this weekend – her four-time-winning son Benny's Bridge is due to run in the Grade 3 Greatwood Handicap Hurdle at Cheltenham this weekend. (13:49)
Lot 507: the first foal to sell at Tattersalls Ireland by Dartmouth (Dubawi), a dual Group 2 winner and third in the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes (G1), makes €35,000. He was consigned by Ballincurrig House Stud.
Purchased by Kevin Ross, the colt is the third foal out of Unika La Reconce (Robin Des Champs). She is a half-sister to Black Corton, winner of Kempton's Kauto Star Novices Chase (G1).
It is the further family of Djeddah, winner of the Feltham Novices Chase (G1), also run at Kempton.
Dartmouth stands at Shade Oak Stud at a fee of £3,000. His first crop are foals of this year.
He has another colt foal due to be consigned tomorrow also from Ballincurrig House (Lot 895). (14:45)
